DAYBREAKER LIVE: DANCING THROUGH THE DECADES
PRESENTED BY AARP
SATURDAY, JULY 18, 2020 from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. ET
You don’t have to leave home to party with your girlfriends, because Daybreaker is bringing a virtual dance floor straight into your living room! You’re invited to Daybreaker Live: Dancing Through the Decades (’60s–’80s) presented by AARP on Saturday, July 18, from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. ET. This free livestream kicks off with dance instruction by choreographer and three-time Emmy winner Debbie Allen (whom you’ll remember as the passionate Lydia Grant from Fame). After Debbie helps us perfect the moves from each of the decades, we’ll launch into a dance party where Jellybean Benitez, former resident DJ of the legendary Studio 54 and executive producer of Studio 54 Radio on SiriusXM, will play your favorite songs. Each decade will bring special guests and surprises, including an iconic “YMCA” moment led by the Village People. Throughout the event you’ll have the opportunity to dazzle us on the dance cam, so come rocking your go-go boots, disco jeans or shoulder pads to show us which decade you are most excited to groove to!
