Sharon Mesmer is a poet, essayist and fiction writer. Her articles have appeared in The New York Times, New York Magazine, Commonweal, and the Paris Review. Her most recent poetry collection is Greetings From My Girlie Leisure Place (Bloof Books). She teaches creative writing at NYU and the New School.
